SHARING STORYTIVITY BOOKS AS A CREATOR

If you already share learning resources, books or educational tools with parents or educators, you are welcome to include Storytivity Books in your recommendations.

Many creators choose to use Amazon’s affiliate program (Amazon Associates) when recommending products. This allows you to earn a small commission if someone purchases through your link at no extra cost to the buyer.

You do not need permission from me to do this. Amazon manages the entire affiliate process separately.

What is Amazon Associates?

Amazon Associates is Amazon’s official affiliate program.
When you join:
  • You receive special tracking links to Amazon products (including my books).
  • If someone clicks your link and makes a qualifying purchase, Amazon pays you a commission.
  • The buyer pays the same price — there is no additional cost to them.

I continue to earn my normal author royalty through Amazon KDP, and Amazon pays affiliate commissions separately.

Who is this suitable for?

This may be a good fit if you:
  • Share resources with parents of children aged 4–10
  • Talk about handwriting, reading, creativity or reluctant learners
  • Create homeschool, classroom or calm learning content
  • Only recommend products you genuinely feel comfortable sharing

You do not need a large audience. Amazon simply requires that you plan to share links publicly and responsibly.

How to join Amazon Associates

If you are not already signed up, here is a simple overview:
  1. Visit the Amazon Associates website (search “Amazon Associates” on your local Amazon site).
  2. Sign in using your Amazon account (or create one).
  3. Add your website, blog, newsletter or social media profile.
  4. Complete the short application.

Approval is usually straightforward.

How to create an affiliate link to a Storytivity Book

  1. Log in to your Amazon Associates account.
  2. Visit the Amazon product page for the book. (A list of Storytivity Books can be found here with links to the product page through the Buy on Amazon button).
  3. Use the “SiteStripe” toolbar at the top of the page.
  4. Click “Get Link” and choose Text or Short Link.
  5. Copy your unique affiliate link and share it on your platform.
  6. Your link will automatically track referrals.

Where affiliate links can be shared

Creators often include affiliate links in:
  • Blog posts or book reviews
  • Resource or recommendation pages
  • Email newsletters
  • Social media posts (with proper disclosure)
Please note:
  • Affiliate links cannot be used in paid ads.
  • Amazon requires a short disclosure such as:
“As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.”
